We picked up this new ride on August 7, 2020. I gave Colt the option between a Jeep Wrangler or a Mustang and well, you guessed it, he picked a Mustang. This is one a '92 5.0 in a rare Bimini Blue, they only made 268 of these in that year. After a weekend of cruising around in her, I think he made the right choice!
It's pretty much a stock AOD car with some upgrades from the previous owner. A painted Cervinis Cobra R cowl hood, 17"x10" rear and 17"x8" from LMR Pony R wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires, double adjustable QA1 upper rear control arms, Maximum Motorsports adjustable rear lower control arms, Eibach sportline springs, KYB shocks and struts, Maximum Motorsports caster and camber plates, Steeda bump steer kit, BBK cold air intake, Flowmaster 50 series mufflers with 2.5" Flowmaster tips and the interior was just reupholstered. All in all, I couldn't not buy this car at the price I paid for it. Also, according to Colt, I may luck out, because he wants this to be his first car when he hits 16!
I did notice that when the top was down , the 18 year old stock Ford speakers whispered in my ears so I upgraded the stock 6 speakers with Kickers in the dash, the doors and the rear. We tried that for a week and it needed a little more, so I put in a kicker amp and one 10" sub in the trunk. All that working together reminded me of my high school days beating around town in my Wrangler! I removed the factory ashtray from the center console added a 12v cigarettes adapter and two USB charging ports. Our weekend cruiser is coming together.
Scout is no different than most dogs, she enjoys the windows down and hanging her head out of the truck so obviously she likes having the top down!!
